Terms & Conditions
Our website, called UM Packaging, offers customers the opportunity to display their skills by creating custom boxes. The terms and conditions of this website are subject to change at any time, and UM Packaging is still the owner of the materials used in the production.

UM Packaging can take down offensive, abusive, or illegal content from its website, but it can not take down content that violates its terms and conditions.
If necessary to comply with legal procedures, service agreements, third-party rights, or customer safety, the business may continue to post content. Being a human-only website, umpackaging.com requires users to be of legal age to abide by its terms and prevent legal action for any misuse. Orders are issued using the company's power. It is solely your responsibility to secure your password and manage who can access your registered account on our website. If someone who has access to your account places an order on our website, it will be on your behalf.
You grant anyone with access to your account permission to create, reuse, and alter content from our website. Liability Limitation and Indemnity
You pledge to protect UMPackaging.com, its directors, members, staff, and subcontractors against lawsuits or losses brought on by improper customer behavior or untested printing. This includes breaking the law, malicious activity, and breaking into password-protected areas without authorization. You are required to cover judicial costs and fees, protect the business, tip verdicts, and make up for loss, damage, vandalism, and destruction.
The Company disclaims all liability for any accident, fatality, hazardous event, damage, or delay of any kind resulting from the use of our website using the information received, or if any party was advised of the possibility of damages. This includes workers, employees, marketing personnel, media members, and relevant authorities. The total amount you paid to UMPackaging.com for the order or request will never be greater than our total liability to you for any losses, damages, and causes of action—including but not limited to negligence—arising from this agreement or your use of our website.
Policy for Returns and Refund
Because UMPackaging.com's products and services are tailored to the needs of the customer, it is recommended that customers contact sales@UMPackaging.com within three working days of receiving their order if the delivered products are defective or do not meet their requirements and specifications. If the company is found to be at fault for the product's malfunction, a free reprint of the order will be provided, but there is no way to file a chargeback. The problem was found by UM Packaging management team.
Complete orders must be returned by the customer within 7 working days at their own cost in order for the order to be correctly reprinted. They must also include digital photos and sufficient proof of any product issues. The customer must return the printed work to us if their mistake continues and they would like a refund; a chargeback will be made after the business deducts the setup and shipping costs for the product.
Cancellations and Payment Order Placement
On our website, product prices are displayed in USD (U.S. dollars). The same currency will be used for payment as well. Upon receiving the entire amount owed to you, including taxes, shipping fees, and other expenses, through a verified payment source, the business begins working on your requested order. Order placement entails submitting the finished good or service to the business, while the press department handles printing duties. Neither the design nor the timing are altered. Cancellations are $25 and 5% of the total amount paid, and they must be made within 4 hours of the proof being approved. 50% of the total payment may be charged for cancellations made after 24 hours.
Design Orders
Orders for design services are not eligible for refunds from UM Packaging. If design services are required, the customers have no choice but to cancel their order, and the full amount paid will not be refunded.
Sales Tax Regulation
Sales tax must also be paid by clients placing orders from within the state of Illinois. If you are tax-exempt, the business must see your tax exemption certificate when you place your order.
Client-Submitted Files and Artwork
Our designers create new designs based on user-provided artwork from our website. The business needs your final artwork files in CMYK format and at 300 dpi (dots per inch). The business will not be held accountable for printing that is blurry, oversized, or deviates from your specifications if you give them files in font sizes other than CMYK. UMPackaging.com is not liable for lost orders, and customers are in charge of the printed work they order. The business has the right to reject orders that are deemed illegal or infringe upon the rights of third parties, and they must make sure the material is their property. There are no offensive, indecent, or abusive materials printed on UMPackaging.com.
Accuracy of Color and Proofs
Placing an order entails sending the business the finished goods or services, either in hard copy or as an electronic file. The press department handles printing tasks. Before agreeing, customers must review and revise proofs, looking for mistakes in text, punctuation, layout, copy, and spacing. Color enhancements and transparency are not handled by electronic proofs.
Everything included in the final, authorized proof is entirely the customer's responsibility.
Although the color to be printed is created from the submitted artwork file, color accuracy cannot be guaranteed because of inherent printing process limitations and adjacent picture ink requirements. When you place an order, you agree to this drawback of the system. The employees are advised to try their best to provide the closest color, but the company is not liable for color changes between expected and printed work. There will be no reprinting done for such color alterations, which are there due to the system limitations. We are not responsible for the matching color, ink, or density on the printed products that you approved. However, the company guarantees color precision and matching if you order a hard proof from the company. This is to inform you that hard copy proof will cost you more otherwise.
No Liability for Errors
UM Packaging is not liable for errors in the final printed product, such as spelling and grammar errors, font mistakes, graphic punctuation, percolating marks, incorrect fonts, die lines, cropping marks, fold cracks, overprinting errors, and differences in finished product size.
All packaging materials are shipped flat and preassembled.
Gang Printing
For the majority of our printing products, we do not use combined or gang printing techniques. The company can use any printing technique that is best suited to its needs and those of its customers.
Overruns and Underruns
The company usually delivers the exact amount of products ordered plus an extra amount. This additional amount of product delivered is free of charge. If fewer products are delivered or under run than expected, the company will simply deduct the amount of delivered products. The company follows the general rule of delivering 5% more or less quantity of delivered products.
Production Speed, Shipping, and Order Delivery
After payment and submission of artwork or files, production speed and printing turnaround time begin. The website allows you to select the production speed. Orders must be submitted before 10 a.m. CT. UMPackaging.com is not responsible for any shipping delays caused by weather or customs issues. If a printing error occurs, charges will be refunded; however, orders are not canceled due to delays. You decide to bill the entire amount for customs duties and fees when it is shipped to the specified locations. As a customer, you are responsible for clearing customs for products shipped outside of the United States.
The company offers 10 to 12 days for shipping the product and 6-8 days for accelerated shipping (with 2-3 days for ground shipping) to any location within the United States, with no weight or quantity restrictions. Additional fees will apply for shipping to other areas. Any loss or damage sustained during the shipment process, as well as delivery transportation delays, are not the company's responsibility. Legally, the business is not liable for any transportation damages. However, you have six business days from the date of shipment to notify us of this kind of issue. We will incur extra shipping and handling costs for a reshipment if you give us the wrong shipment delivery address or fail to submit the full destination address.
